The third and final map in the Legendary Map Pack has been announced; it is Blackout, a remake of Lockout from Halo 2. And, according to Bungie, “Blackout is a remake in a pretty strict sense of the word.” Rejoice. And then click the link below.

Bungie has revealed the next map in the Legendary Map Pack: Avalanche. In addition to pictures and information regarding this map, the final release date and pricing for the Legendary Map Pack has been announced: April 15th, for 800 MS Points. Earlier today, a Bungie representative on GAF stated that the press release containing information on the next map in the Legendary Map Pack has been switched to a Wednesday release as opposed to the Tuesday release announced in the latest Bungie Weekly Update. Details on the reason for the change weren’t given, but it appears to have been a decision made by Microsoft, rather than Bungie.
Word from a Bungie employee, via GAF, is that we won’t be getting a full map reveal this week, as last Friday’s Weekly Update had hinted. “Just parts from/of one. After this week and early next week,” the Bungie staffer said, is apparently when a full reveal, or least a decent amount of information, is getting released. At least we’ll get a teaser shot or something of that sort this Thursday or Friday.
Only a few more days!

Well, I think we might have an answer to both of those questions and the solution, surprisingly enough, involves what we believe to be the content for the Legendary Map Pack visiting Xbox Live this Spring.
